Hiking weekend

On saturday Stephen, Philip, Caleb, Kate and I climbed up the mountain behind our village. We went down on the other side to attend a festival in a community there. It is the third ewe festival I went to since I am here. We met a lot of people, watched the dancing and in the evening we walked back. The people were surprised when I told them that I walked over the mountain. They don't know the mountains in Austria. Compared to them mountains in Ghana are just hills.

However, on sunday Stephen and I went to the highest community in Ghana (over 700m). There we climbed Mount Gemi, which reminded me a little bit to the mountains in Austria. It has a summit cross and the view was great!
